Product Description:
ViewSonic's PJ520 multimedia video projector offers high-quality image performance in a package that's light enough (just 5.9 pounds) to travel. This quality projector features LCD technology (0.7-inch PolySi TFT with micro-lens), 800 x 600 native resolution, 2,000 ANSI lumens of brightness, and a 350:1 contrast ratio to deliver clear images in a wide range of venues. The PJ520 offers standard analog signal input for both PC and Mac. It can sale images from VGA (640 x 480) to UXGA (1,600 x 1,200) for PCs, and from VGA to SXGA (1,280 x 1,024) for Macs (may require Mac adapter). It features dual RGB plus composite, component, and S-video inputs, allowing for versatile source connection. The projector is also HDTV ready (480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i) and has a built-in 1-watt speaker. Display size can range from 30 to 300 inches diagonally and is dependant on the 35 to 433-inch throw distance. An image cast from approximately 52 inches away yields a 40-inch diagonal image, and an image cast from 195 inches away yields a 150-inch diagonal image, for example. The PJ520 has a 1.2 zoom factor and offers switchable full-screen (4:3) and widescreen (16:9) aspect ratios. Zoom and focus control are adjusted via front-mounted rings encircling the lens. The PJ520 features a remote control with mouse control. An OnView menu lets you adjust everything from display settings to language preference, volume and mute, projector orientation (front, rear, ceiling, etc), auto-adjustments, and more. Additionally, the PJ520 offers digital keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) and a 4,000-hour lamp life. The PJ520 does not come with any signal/connector cables, but does include a soft carry case and is backed by a generous three-year warranty with free 24/7 technical support, one year Express Exchange, and a one-year warranty on the lamp.
