When used with a progressive-scan DVD player (or 480p-output DTV set-top box) you'll get seamless, razor-sharp images from your favorite movies and concert videos. The TV features an enhanced contrast ratio (500:1) and high brightness (430 cd/m2), providing black blacks and vivid, crisp colors with brilliant clarity. Proprietary QS (Quick Shoot) technology increases the pixel response time, effectively reducing any visual lag resulting from fast-motion scenes. Bought this TV on the spur of the moment and loved that it was totally easy to set up. It has a very simple menu, has great speakers and is all around a wonderful tv. Very bright and crisp picture (even with analog cable).
