LCD display prices to drop 50 percent?
[The Blackfriars Blog] VLSI Research analyst Risto Puhakka says the AKT-50K will give TV makers the ability to make HDTVs in bigger numbers, which will lower their costs. That, in turn, should reduce retail prices and spark more sales.

LCD Vertical Banding or DLP Rainbows?
[HDBlog.net] Two of the most popular television technologies are, of course, DLP and LCD. Each has their own pluses and minuses, and they arent necessarily the same. One of DLPs problems is the rainbow effect thats caused by the spinning colour wheel. And one of LCDs problems is the vertical banding effect.
