HDTV impact on Nielson ratings

[HD Beat] TV Squad posted a great list today of the top twenty shows, per last week's Nielsen ratings. As I was looking through the list, I started counting how many of these shows were available in high-def.

[Blogmaverick.com] My note to the FCC re HDTV - Blog Maverick - www.blogmaverick.com _: lots of HDTV content is the one compelling thing about digital transmission that will make people want to plunk down the cash for tuners, then you'll start to get an economy of scale and technology will move faster as it becomes a more common item, and the prices will start to fall which will bring along the rest of the consumers even if they are not upgrading to HDTV, either through purchase of a new, cheaper tuner, or a new set.
