[Reinvent TV] Advertising opportunities will include 15- or 30-second streaming video ads and standard Universal Ad Package ads on the Rock Star: INXS site and throughout the MSN network. "It gives advertisers multiple touchpoints throughout the MSN areas," said Karen Reidetzki, MSN's product manager. Online-TV package deals will also be offered, Mr. Riggs said.

[oh yummy pez] isaku's idea of a post.: hey good morning people, i woke up this morning (yes, i did wake up) and heard birds chirping outside my window while i looked over at my white clock sitting on a brown stool next to my bed to find out that its only 7:20am so i laid in my bed for a while wondering why i'm up so early and tried going back to sleep again cos its a saturday but then eventually got up and looked for my glasses (right: 500 degrees, left: 450 degrees- approximately) which were lying somewhere on the floor, and as i got up i caught a glimpse of the mirror (my room has 2 big mirrors so its hard to avoid them) and saw some girl with really interesting hair wearing a shirt that says "i (heart) cats" and red shorts with white hearts all over staring right back at me and then went to the bathroom to take off my nasty retainers and rinsed my mouth and decided to attempt to go back to sleep again for about 5 minutes after turning off my air con since it was freeeezing (20 degrees on turbo) and of course, taking off my glasses (i mean, who sleeps with glasses on) but too bad couldn't sleep longer so i got out of bed again and wore my glasses which i had dumped on the other side of my queen-sized bed and just sat in bed thinking what i could do on an early saturday morning which is when i thought maybe i could try out my "new hobby" which is, incase some of you forgot, or are too lazy to re-read my previous previous long post, is to go running through a small road surrounded by pretty big and little houses because i love houses especially pretty ones like ones from the OC (california...*sniff*) or the new houses that were built right across mine making my house equivalent to a pc and theirs a mac *sulk* and oops sorry gone quite off topic so back to my morning, the part where i thought about running cos running sounded nice and i remembered my friend abby (i miss you abby :( ) saying that she goes running when she's feeling all deep and thoughtful and not too good but to contradict my eager mind, my body was as good as a sloth so i let my body win my mind this time and settled on going to the room next door (which is my brother's) and turning on my emac by pressing the small round switch found on the right side of the monitor, so that maybe i can find more information about the part-time NAFA (nanyang academy of fine arts) program or see if la salle offered any part time art courses and to of course make an elaborate post about my morning which hasn't lasted very long yet so i stick the plug into my broadband modem which is a TECOM brand for some of you who wanted to know which brand, and clicked the dial up icon to dial up to go onto the internet which took about less than 5 seconds thanks to such advanced technology, so i happily opened safari (which is a better version of internet explorer all you pc users) and went to my blog, opened another window and went to my blogger account, opened a third window and went to the NAFA website, and opened a fourth window and went to the la salle website but found out they didn't have any part time art courses and the NAFA website didn't offer any extra information that weren't already on the NAFA booklet mr. moore gave me yesterday so i closed both windows and opened proteus (which is a better version of msn messenger all you pc users) to see who else could be up so early on a nice saturday like this and surprisingly saw 6 people online and of course i will tell you who they are because i'm so sure everyone's dying to know, so anyway sam (age: 15 currently attending chatsworth international school, nationality:singaporean), timothy (age: 16 currently attending international community school, nationality:american), ansell (age:17-i'm not sure, currently attending international community school, nationality:singaporean), aaron (age: 17, currently attending united world college of south east asia, nationality: singaporean), alana (age: 16 currently attending international community school, nationality: indonesian) and nathan (age: 16, currently attending international community school, nationality: american) were online so i got to talk to nathan (age: 16, currently attending international community school, nationality: american) for 2 minutes before he left for his sister's basketball finals which i'm hoping they would win, so after i said goodbye to nathan (age: 16, currently attending international community school, nationality: american) i clicked "new post" on my blogger account window and decided to make a nice lovely post about my lovely morning so this is what i typed in my post:

Msnbc.msn.comhttp://www.msnbc.msn.com [Msnbc.msn.com] How to lose a country in seven easy steps - - MSNBC.com: No, I never heard of Maude Maggart, either, but I thought it’d make a nice belated Mother’s Day outing, since she was singing an entire set of songs from 1933, and she’s gotten some great reviews.  Was I right?  Does a chicken have lips?  In the first place, 1933 really was, as the man sang, “a very good year,” for music, if not much else.  We got Al Dubin / Harry Warren songs like “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” and “Remember My Forgotten Man.”Â  “I’m Getting Sentimental Over You,” “It’s Only A Paper Moon,” “Yesterdays,” “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes,” “Night and Day,” “It’s The Talk of the Town” and “Happy Days Are Here Again.”Â  We also got a, believe it or not, swinging song with a Yiddish chorus I can’t remember, but that my mom understood.  Anyway, this Maude Maggart is, as they say, going places.  She’s Fiona Apple’s sister, but more important for our purposes, she’s been tutored by Andrea Marcovicci and Michael Feinstein, which not only helps with the singing and the stage presence, but also with the history too.  Like her mentors, Ms. Maggart was meticulous in giving the audience plenty of context based on her own original research and she delivered it in a charming, funny sort of way that only grated once or twice.  Did I mention that she sings really well and is a total babe?  Well, consider it mentioned.  Unfortunately her Monday night run at the Algonquin is over but she says she’ll be back in the fall with a new, as yet unplanned show, and she’s got these 1933 songs on a CD called “With Sweet Despair.”Â  You can read about her here. I liked it so much I might give her sister another listen too, since I’ve recently been informed by the younger generation that I was confusing her with Tori Amos, without whom I can definitely live.)

Msnbc.msn.comhttp://www.msnbc.msn.com [Msnbc.msn.com] Rebuild the Twin Towers - Bloggermann - MSNBC.com: As to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, whose comments have kind of made the White House approach to this whole thing look like they were the guys in my Government Lab who all got a C+ because the professor thought they had forgotten to do anything, ever, besides politics, General Richard Myers piped up today, for the first time since last Thursday. He said he has not revisited the original conclusion from Lieutenant General Eikenberry on the ground there, that the violence in Afghanistan which killed 17 people, began not over the Newsweek article, but over local politics. He did add today ”” with Secretary Rumsfeld standing by his side ”” that the Newsweek piece quote "certainly doesn’t help."

Msnbc.msn.comhttp://www.msnbc.msn.com [Msnbc.msn.com] Today's read - Scarborough Country - MSNBC.com: The star of "America's Most Wanted," Mr. Walsh, got involved in the fight against child predators after he lost his child. He has been a tireless advocate for years on some of the very issues we are fighting for in our Scarborough Country campaign.

Msnbc.msn.comhttp://www.msnbc.msn.com [Msnbc.msn.com] - Bloggermann - MSNBC.com: Fast forward. I take July 1st off because I’m stuck working on the company holiday for Independence Day.  Marlon Brando dies.  Everyone takes notice, Keith and I included.  Fast forward to August.  I return home to the Midwest.  Look out, we’re on death watch.  I’m off for a 4-day weekend.  Rick James and Fay Wray die.  Fast Forward to September.  I’m in Montreal.  The news breaks that President Clinton needs emergency heart bypass surgery.  Keith calls me in Montreal to express disbelief in the coincidence and the staff feels things aren’t looking good for Mr. Clinton.  Forget what the doctors say”¦ the grim reaper of news is up north.  His surgery is scheduled for a Tuesday and I’ll be back at work.  The staff breathes a sigh of relief.  Clinton’s surgery is a day early and pulls through fine.  Maybe the death spell is gone, but there is definitely a firm belief that bad news breaks.  While in Canada, the Russian school tragedy and Hurricane Frances dominate the headlines.

Radio.weblogs.com[Radio.weblogs.com] Scobleizer: Microsoft Geek Blogger: Oh, and Mark, yes, Microsoft workers are obsessed with their email. I have not found another company that is so email centric. The team I'm on got so swamped with email at all hours of the night and day that everyone decided on an "email truce" where we wouldn't send email to each other after 7 p.m. at night or on Sundays.

HDTVs: Sharper, Bigger, Better

HDTVs have high resolutions that yield incredibly lifelike pictures, wide screens to accommodate the 16:9 aspect ratio of HD programming and DVD movies, and Dolby Digital decoding for theater-quality audio. Here are the choices--flat-panel or projection, you can't go wrong.

Flat-panel LCD TVs: LCD flat-panels offer bright, crisp picture quality, are highly energy-efficient, have 60,000-hour life spans, and come in a range of screen sizes, though all under 50 inches.

Flat-panel plasma TVs: Plasma flat-panels have extremely accurate picture detail, high brightness, wide viewing angles, and large, wall-mountable screens--from 37 to over 60 inches.

Projection TVs: Your big-screen choices are CRT, LCD, DLP, and LCoS. The first two are tried-and-true technologies; DLP and LCoS are hot microdisplay technologies that provide superb picture detail and brightness in lighter-weight cabinets.
